Meeting information

Over 35 years after the development of the Dallas Criteria for myocarditis, cardiovascular pathologists will meet again to complete new and improved myocarditis criteria. New disease entities and new approaches to evaluate heart tissues for myocarditis have come about in this time period. Two consensus groups, one for endomyocardial biopsies and one for explanted/autopsy hearts have worked since 2022 to develop these criteria. This meeting with be a discussion and celebration of this work.

The event will be held from 8AM to 5:45PM EDT in the Armstrong Medical Education building. The excellent speakers will cover a range of topics from pathophysiology, to imaging diagnosis, to clinical considerations, to the diagnostic criteria of myocarditis. A full lineup is presented below.
