RE: CVP Impact Factor
I am pleased to report that we have learned from our Elsevier publisher that the Impact Factor for our journal, Cardiovascular Pathology, has seen another increase based on the latest annual data. The 2017 impact factor reflects articles published in 2015 and 2016 and cited in 2017, which is calculated in 2018 after data is collected up to December 31, 2017. The CVP Impact Factor increased from 2.359 in 2016 to 2.496 in 2017. This Impact Factor shows that CVP is on a par with many other subspecialty clinical journals. The data also indicate that our healthy Impact Factor is heavily influenced by the citations for the Consensus Conferences and Review Articles that we have published. We strive to continue to publish such articles in the future as well as original research and case reports of novelty and quality.
Thank you for your continued interest and support of our journal, Cardiovascular Pathology.
